Hi GFSB! There is an event coming up in Del Mar, CA on February 11-12 that many of you would be interested in attending – the Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo. This event is perfect for anyone with celiac disease or a special diet.
If you are interested in volunteering, they need help! Volunteers get free entry to the Expo and a t-shirt in exchange for working at shift at the event. Those interested should fill out this form.

Hi, I have never been to a Gluten Free Expo. Can you tell me if this is just another opportunity for food processors to advertise their high fat and high sugar foods or if there is some substantial dietary information available? I’m really not interested in gathering samples of more “stuff” from the gluten free industry however, I would appreciate listening to intelligent speakers if they offer substantial information. Hi Nicki! I’ve been to this event once before and found that there is something for everyone. There are plenty of samples of GF “stuff” for those interested in that. They also tend to pull together an impressive lineup of speakers covering an array of topics related to the gluten-free diet.
